Set within Altadena, a residential property lost in the wake of the Eaton Fire is reimagined through a careful rebuild. One that honors what was originally there while looking forward. The project reimagines the California Bungalow with more fire resistant  materials while reestablishing a sense of continuity within the neighborhood fabric while introducing a more tailored approach to modern living.

The rebuild maintains the approachable scale and character of the original home, yet is reconfigured to support the client’s evolving needs.

This project also includes a detached garage and second story ADU to optimize the program across the site, creating a layered composition of structures that reinforces indoor-outdoor living. Together, the elements form a cohesive environment in conjunction with thoughtfully design landscape and outdoor spaces.
