An original 1960s cottage in the hills of Corona del Mar sought additional flexible-use square footage along with a refreshed aesthetic. Through a thoughtful design approach, warm natural materials are paired with clean contemporary lines, creating a balanced interplay of texture that extends from the entry experience into the courtyard.

The remodel and addition are fully integrated with new landscape elements and planting, softening the architecture and reinforcing a cohesive connection between built form and outdoor spaces.
